How do I pair the ZAGGfolio keyboard to my Galaxy Tab?

On the Galaxy Tab, select SETTINGS > GENERAL > BLUETOOTH
ON ZAGGfolio keyboard, slide the POWER button "ON" and press the Bluetooth button.
The "Status" light will flash on ZAGGfolio keyboard and the Galaxy Tab will display "ZAGG keyboard" as an 'available device.'
Select "ZAGG keyboard" on the Galaxy Tab; the Galaxy Tab will display a unique code.
Type the unique code on ZAGGfolio keyboard and press ENTER. ZAGGfolio keyboard will now be paired to your Galaxy Tab.

Do I have to pair my ZAGGfolio keyboard to my Galaxy Tab every time I want to use it?

No, just the first time.

Can I pair my ZAGGfolio keyboard to more than one Galaxy Tab?

The ZAGGfolio keyboard will only pair to one device at a time to prevent the ZAGGfolio from inadvertently controlling 2 or more devices at once. However, the pairing process is so simple, switching from one Galaxy Tab or any other Bluetooth capable device is very quick.

The outer polyurethane case was created with a stylish carbon fiber design and a durable microfiber lining.

What do the lights mean on the ZAGGfolio keyboard?

Charging light: Turns on when charging, turns off when fully charged.

Status light: Flashes when the battery is low (about 20% capacity), when pairing, and lights briefly when you turn on ZAGGfolio keyboard then turns off to save battery.

What do the top row of keys do on the keyboard?

Home - Brings you to the Galaxy Tab home screen
Search - Brings up the Galaxy Tab search screen
Slideshow - Starts playing slideshow of saved pictures

How do you charge the ZAGGfolio keyboard?

Included with your ZAGGfolio Galaxy Tab Case is a micro USB cable. You can plug this into a standard USB charger, such as your Galaxy Tab wall charger or a computer USB port. Simply slide the ZAGGfolio keyboard out of the ZAGGfolio Galaxy Tab Case (about an inch) to expose the charging port on the Galaxy Tab.

How often does the ZAGGfolio keyboard need to be charged?

ZAGGfolio Galaxy Tab Case's long-life battery can stay charged for several months of normal use between charges. When not in use, turn off the keyboard to lengthen battery life. ZAGGfolio Galaxy Tab Case will go into sleep mode if left on and not being used; press a key and wait 2-3 seconds to bring it out of sleep mode.

I have an invisibleSHIELD on my Galaxy Tab. Will I have any trouble fitting it into the ZAGGfolio properly?

No, you will not have any trouble. The ZAGGfolio was designed to allow an Galaxy Tab with or without an invisibleSHIELD to fit in securely.

Thank you for considering the ZAGGfolio. We expect that this will be an excellent companion to your iPad 2. The reviews coming are overwhelmingly positive. In designing the ZAGGfolio, we chose to eliminate any straps, snaps, Velcro, rubber bands, or any other unsightly closing mechanisms. Instead, we chose to use a very sleek and precise clasp. After further testing, we have found some of the ZAGGfolio's are exhibiting an unanticipated behavior with the clasp. This clasp performed well in our original testing, and the iPad 2 units used in testing were protected with an invisibleSHIELD. Based on customer feedback and further testing on iPad 2 units without an invisibleSHIELD, the clasp is not staying closed. This is unacceptable to us and we are working as quickly and efficiently as possible to get this corrected.

Additionally, the clasp issue has also caused some issues with the auto on/off function of the iPad 2. For customers having this issue, we have recommended they disable that feature. (Settings - General - iPad Cover Lock / Unlock - OFF.)

We are currently in the process of redesigning the clasp mechanism and manufacturing new ZAGGfolio units as quickly as possible. All ZAGGfolio customers will be receiving a brand new ZAGGfolio (not including the keyboard or USB charging cable) when these are ready to ship in 4-6 weeks.

We are confident that by purchasing the ZAGGfolio, your experience will be positive and you will enjoy all of the benefits the ZAGGfolio has to offer. The clasp may be an issue for you if your iPad 2 does not have an invisibleSHIELD covering the front, however, you would be receiving a brand new ZAGGfolio, automatically, when the new units are shipped.
