How do I pair the ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard to my iOS or Android device?

1. On an iOS device, select SETTINGS > GENERAL > BLUETOOTH > Select ZAGGkeys. On Android devices select APPS > Settings > Wireless Networks > Bluetooth (to turn on the Bluetooth). Then select Bluetooth Settings > Find nearby Devices
2. ON ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard, slide the POWER button "ON" and press the Bluetooth button.
3. The "Status" light will flash on ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard and the device will display "ZAGG keyboard" as an 'available device.'
4. Select "ZAGG keyboard" on the device; the device will display a unique code.*
5. Type the unique code on ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard and press ENTER. ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard will now be paired to your device.

*For some Android devices you will need to first create the password in step 4 on your Android device and then re-enter this password on your ZAGGkeys SOLO.

Do I have to pair my ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard to my device every time I want to use it?

No, just the first time.

Can I pair my ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard to more than one device?

The ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard will only pair to one device at a time to prevent the ZAGGkeys SOLO from inadvertently controlling 2 or more devices at once. However, the pairing process is so simple, switching from one device or any other Bluetooth capable device is very quick.

What do the lights mean on the ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard?

Charging light: Turns on when charging, turns off when fully charged.

Status light: Flashes when the battery is low (about 20% capacity), when pairing, and lights briefly when you turn on ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard then turns off to save battery.

What do the top row of keys do on the keyboard?

• Home - Brings you to the home screen
• Search - Brings up the search screen
• Slideshow - Starts playing slideshow of saved pictures
• Virtual keyboard - Allows you to hide or show on-screen keyboard
• Lock - makes the screen go dark and come back when pressed again
• Other function keys: Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, Redo
• Music function keys: Previous track, Play/Pause, Next track, Mute, Volume down, Volume up
• To activate these functions for an Android device, simply press the Android button at the bottom left of the keyboard

*Note some functions do not work with all Android devices.

How do you charge the ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard?

Included with your ZAGGkeys SOLO Case is a micro USB cable. You can plug this into a standard USB charger, such as your tablet wall charger or a computer USB port.

How often does the ZAGGkeys SOLO keyboard need to be charged?

ZAGGkeys SOLO's long-life battery can stay charged for several months of normal use between charges. When not in use, turn off the keyboard to lengthen battery life. ZAGGkeys SOLO iPad will go into sleep mode if left on and not being used; press a key and wait 2-3 seconds to bring it out of sleep mode.
