To begin with, the keys on the left side of the keyboard are positioned so that when the keyboard is folded in half, the keys interlock with each other so that it folds up nicely. The myType keyboard uses Bluetooth technology to connect with its source and works guaranteed up to 33 feet. The keyboard also works at at least 75 words per minute, but that’s probably just because that’s how fast the guy can type.
It takes a little getting used to, but once you do you can apparently “fly” on it. It holds a battery charge of about 8 hours and is all-in-all quite a nifty little keyboard.
While we give the myType keyboard points for creativity, we prefer our tablet keyboard solutions. For one thing, ZAGGkeys FLEX and ZAGGfolio are a much more professional and stylish looking option. Plus, in addition to a Bluetooth keyboard, our keyboards come with stands and cases. Let’s not forget that our batteries last for months, not hours. Finally, ours just feel more like a real keyboard and doesn’t take so much getting used to.
What do you think about the myType keyboard? How do you think it will match up to other keyboards in your opinion?
