Exhale Bladeless Fan Estimated to Ship In March

Indiegogo and Kickstarter have started a revolution. The kind of revolution where every great little product idea has a chance to be tested in the market and created if there is demand.

A bladeless ceiling fan was the idea, and it was well received.

I have always been interested in innovation, combining simple solutions with elegant design. The Exhale was inspired by 19th century inventor Nikola Tesla and is the world’s first truly bladeless ceiling fan. It utilizes the science of laminar flow between an array of flat disks to efficiently move air throughout your environment. This laminar movement creates a smooth uninterrupted airflow with virtually no noise.

On Indiegogo the Exhale fan was able to raise their needed $35,000 with 10 days to go. They’ve started manufacturing and have a website up for those interested in preordering.

This is one of the coolest products I’ve seen simply for the reason that it represents a major change in the technology we have in our homes. How long before home improvement stores are pushing fans like these, and we have them in every home in the world?
