Fight For Space on Kickstarter: Save the US Space Program

The Kickstarter project “Fight For Space – Space Program & NASA Documentary” put the trailer from their project video on YouTube. It’s pretty moving for anyone that believes in space.

Americans want to be the best. One of the most important things we all watch for during the Olympics is the overall medal count. Why? We don’t just want to win a single race, we want to be the best at everything.

We made it to the moon first, but as American’s we should have greater ambition than to just visit the moon. Space is more than just one race.

The purpose of the documentary is to help discover what is going on with the US space exploration program.

My favorite quote from the video is this one from John F. Kennedy:

“We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too.”
