OneReceipt, smartly uses your emails to help track your spending

OneReceipt is a simple and convenient app that helps you track your finances.

Here’s what they have to say about themselves:

We keep all your receipts, and we mean ALL (paper and digital), in one convenient place.

Automatically track your digital receipts

OneReceipt links to your email account. It automatically pulls the financial information out of your emails and puts it in a user-friendly list of online receipts.

Unlike Mint.com, which links to your bank account to show your expenses, One Receipt primarily links to your email. One Receipt also offers a browser extension to show receipt details while you’re looking at your online bank statement.

OneReceipt is very easy to set up and use. It automatically tags & categorizes your expenses, making it easy to see where your money is going.

Take a picture, save physical receipts

The iPhone app lets you add receipts with the iPhone’s camera or by entering the information in manually.. Take a picture of your receipt in the OneReceipt app, and your receipt is uploaded. Once the image is uploaded, it’s digitized. The process can take some time, but it’s still better than typing it in.

If you don’t have an iPhone, you can email your receipts to OneReceipt.

Give it a try

OneReceipt is one of the most convenient and simple online finance apps I’ve used. Other services may offer better analytics or additional features, but OneReceipt is very good at doing what it’s supposed to: Keeping all of your receipts in one convenient place.
