Set to premier at Sundance Film Festival on January 25 in Park City, UT, the independent movie jOBS will be released to the public in April, says an announcement from Open Road Films and Five Star Feature Films. It stars Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs, which you can see in the photo above.
While it comes with a unique title (lowercase ‘j’, capital ‘OBS’), the film will be the first of its kind since Jobs passed away in October 2011.
According to MovieWeb:
jOBS plunges into the depths of his character, creating an intense dialogue-driven story that is as much a sweeping epic as it is an immensely personal portrait of Steve Jobs’ life. The filmmakers were granted unprecedented access during shooting to the historic garage in Palo Alto, that served as the birthplace to Apple Inc.
