Picture this: you and your friends make plans that fall through. You find yourself with extra time during the day. You’re bored out of your mind. If you have experienced any or all of these situations before, do I have a solution for you!
Weotta Go, a new iPhone app from plan making website creator and startup Weotta, is specifically designed to help you recover your plans if something falls through, fill up your extra time with fun ideas and cure your boredom.
Weotta Go compiles data from your phone such as your location, time of day and even the weather to suggest things for you to do right in the moment. The app opens with a stack of images that represent ideas of what to do or where to go. After tapping on a picture for additional information, you can choose to catalogue and save the like by dragging them to the bottom of the screen or use your finger to flick unwanted ideas off of the screen.
Next, peruse through the ideas that you saved to see what looks best to do. Do you want to go to the museum a few blocks away? The fair downtown? A movie and ice cream? Feel free to email the lists of ideas to friends or family to get their input on what sounds best.
Once you’ve decided what looks best, let Weotta Go know to directly make a reservation, buy tickets or get directions straight through the app.
Weotta Go also learns from the things you choose or pass on to provide you with more tailored options in the future and immediately. For example, I was just flicking through ideas and saved several restaurants that I thought looked good. Weotta Go instantly popped up with the observation that I seemed to be looking for something to eat and began to tailor suggestions accordingly.
Or, simply use the Filter button to narrow results by distance, price, group type (dates, girls, guys, kids) or categories like food, shopping, events, etc.
Would you use an app like this to make plans or act spontaneously? Weotta Go is free and available right now for iPhone so go get planning!
