If you’ve ever tried to find a parking space in a busy downtown area or by a large university, you know what a hassle it can be. Parker, an app by Streetline, is helping connect cars with a space to sit and wait for you while you go about your business and it’s expanding into more and more cities with every update.
The free app, available in the App Store as well as Google Play, helps you find a parking space by providing real-time parking availability and information that includes the locations of parking areas, as well as their rates and hours, if applicable. As if that wasn’t convenient enough, it also provides voice guidance (which announces when parking is available by your current location), a timer (to remind you of when your meter is going to expire), and it can even help you find your car when you’re ready to head back home.

Currently, Parker is only available for 22 cities and universities, including Los Angeles, Indianapolis, and Oregon State University. Want it in your city? Click here and enter in your information, and Streetline will send a letter to your city representative, requesting that the service be funded and provided in your area.
