There are dozens of creative ways people have learned to use this site to their advantage. Whether planning a trip or organizing your next shopping, extravaganza, there is a tip in my list below for you!
Market Your Products: If you have a small business, Pinterest is the perfect platform to market your merchandise. You can track the number of ‘repins’ and ‘likes’ each of your items receives to get a picture of its demand within the Pinterest demographic.
Create a Recipe Collection: This is one of my favorite things to do on Pinterest and it can make you the topic of conversation at that next family reunion. Use Pinterest to collect delicious recipes! Then you can use your recipe board to find that amazing enchilada casserole to make for your next family dinner.
Add a Price: You can include the price of any item by adding it to the description. For example, when you type “My Favorite Stuffed Cthulu $18.99” Pinterest will automatically add the price as a diagonal banner in the left top corner. This is a great way to help people save time while shopping!
Create a Bucket List: Following the popular trend, you can now create a Bucket List Board. Simply search bucket list on Pinterest and start pinning away all your must do things into one board. Then you can remind yourself of all your goals.
Plan a trip: Let’s say you are planning a trip to New Orleans and want to know what you can do there. Search for New Orleans and click on “Boards.” From there you can find things that interest you, and pin them to your “New Orleans Trip 2012” board.
