Its that time of year again and it will be April 15th before we know it. Many of us dread the time and effort that it takes to find all of our tax documents and complete our yearly tax refund. Tax companies that provide programs for you to easily complete your taxes on your own are working hard to make the tax process more mobile and easier than ever.
H&R Block promotes their app as follows:

Turbo Tax takes this approach:
Magically do your taxes on your phone with the snap of a photo – only $19.99.IT’S SO SIMPLE
While they each have their own benefits and work for some people you may need to look at what forms you need before you use the app. This will prevent you from filling out all your info on the app and then realizing you can’t do all with the app. I want to note some of the prices to file may go up the closer it gets to tax day.
Both of these apps do offer the ability to quickly take a photo of your W-2 and have it load in all your information automatically. This is a big help so you don’t have to enter in all the information on a small screen.
If you are not sure if this is they way to go you can always give it a shot and if you don’t finish you don’t need to pay.
