We all love Siri. She’s so funny and sweet. She makes us laugh and brings us the information we need when we need it.

The first thing we think of when you hear about Siri is how much technology is advancing. Siri isn’t AI by any stretch, but it certainly begins to feel that way when she’s setting your appointments and giving you reminders.
The iPhone 4S’ digital personal assistant Siri appears to be heading toward cult classic status.

The real draw to this project is it’s obvious nostalgia. You know that the more you use Siri, the more you need Siri. We don’t want to get to reliant on Siri lest we end up like Hal and Dave in ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’.
The Iris 9000 from ThinkGeek is a neat device
that lets you control Siri from up to 50 feet away with a micro remote and a built-in mic that picks up your voice at a distance.
Iris 9000 will set you back about $60, but your artificial intelligence fantasies will finally be a reality. The device will be available next year.
