This month, the who’s who of the tech world descended on Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show to show off their newest products. Many of them made headlines while many more went unnoticed. Here are some of my favorites that may have gone unnoticed.
The Sphero Ball – this little robotic toy is sure to be a hit with your kids and even your pets. It acts as if it has a mind of its own, but it’s actually controlled by your smartphone via Bluetooth. You can make it change colors, play games, or just roll around the floor.
The Atari iPad Arcade – this is perfect for anyone feeling nostalgiac for the 80′s. All you have to do is slide an iPad or iPad2 into the dock, download the Atari app, and you’ll playing Asteroid and all those other retro classics in no time. I wonder if they have Pac Man?
The Swiss Army USB Drive – for the Boy Scout who happens to need 64GB of storage while he’s out camping. Victornix, the company who makes the famous knives, claims its the smallest flash drive on the market. If you need even more storage space, you can upgrade to the 1TB model for a mere $2,000.
The Marley Bag of Rhythm – here’s another one for people feeling nostalgiac for the 80′s. Brought to you by the House of Marley (yes, as in Bob Marley), this little canvas tote bag transforms into a high-tech iPhone/iPod dock that you can take anywhere. Perfect for those days on the beach listening to … Bob Marley, of course.
