2 weeks ago my ipod stopped working.

When I contacted apple for a solution, their reply was:
"A sad smily means it's a hardware problem and apple doesn't sell

I was hopless. I really missed my little music player.

Not a scratch on the ipod.
Second time.
Now a bit harder.

Still nothing.
Third time I took a knife.
Stabbing the ipod's screen deeply.
Guess what. Still no marks.
Suddenly, something else happened.
The sad smily face dissappeared.
A little apple sign pops up on the screen.
Everything just works!"
