mophie powerstation plus and powerstation plus XL portable batteries feature a built-in Lightning charging cable that is compatible with Apple devices. They also have a USB-A output port that is compatible with most USB devices and wearables.
How do I recharge my powerstation plus or powerstation plus XL portable battery?
Both batteries have Lightning input ports for wired recharging. Connect the Lightning cable included with your Apple device to this port and to a power source with a USB output, like the wall adapter included with your Apple device.
You can also wirelessly recharge the powerstation plus XL portable battery from any mophie wireless charging pad or any Qi-compatible charger. Just place the powerstation plus XL portable battery on the charging pad as shown in the quick-start guide.
Will the powerstation plus or powerstation plus XL portable battery charge my iPhone?
Absolutely. For example, the powerstation plus portable battery can provide up to 20 hours of extra battery to an iPhone X, while the powerstation plus XL portable battery can provide up to 34 hours of extra battery to an iPhone X.
Can I recharge the powerstation plus portable battery from a computer’s USB port?
Yes, the powerstation plus and powerstation plus XL portable batteries will charge from any high-current USB port, which are available on most computers. Lower-current ports available on some computers, as well as USB ports on keyboards and hubs may not effectively charge the battery.
Will the powerstation plus or powerstation plus XL portable battery charge my iPad?
You bet. For example, the powerstation plus portable battery can provide up to 8 hours of extra battery for an iPad mini 4 and up to 5 hours of extra battery for an iPad Pro 10.5-inch. The powerstation plus XL portable battery can provide up to 14 hours of extra battery for an iPad mini 4 and over 9 hours of extra battery for an iPad Pro 10.5-inch.
Can I charge my device while recharging the powerstation plus battery (Priority+ pass-through charging)?
Yes. Priority+ pass-through charging provides power to a device connected to the built-in Lightning cable before the powerstation plus/powerstation plus XL portable battery starts to recharge from its Lightning input port. (The USB-A port on the powerstation plus and powerstation plus XL portable batteries is disabled during Priority+ pass-through charging.)
If you’re recharging the powerstation plus or powerstation plus XL portable battery from your computer with iTunes, Priority+ pass-through charging will sync iTunes with an Apple device that is charging from the powerstation battery’s built-in Lightning cable.
Can I charge two devices at once?
Sure. The USB-A port on the powerstation plus and powerstation plus XL portable batteries can be used at the same time as the battery’s built-in Lightning connector.
Why aren’t the LEDs blinking while my portable battery is charging?
After connecting the powerstation plus or powerstation plus XL portable battery’s Lightning input port to a power source, the LED status indicators will start blinking to indicate charging. The lights will turn off after 30 seconds allowing for a good night’s rest. Remember to check the status indicator before you disconnect. When all four LEDs are lit, your powerstation plus/powerstation plus XL portable battery is fully charged.
Once I connect the powerstation plus or powerstation plus XL portable battery to my device, how do I start charging?
Press and hold the status button for 3 seconds to begin charging.
