How fast will the powerstation® PD or powerstation PD XL battery charge my smartphone?
The mophie® powerstation PD and powerstation PD XL portable batteries will charge your PD-enabled* smartphone with up to 18W of power via their USB-C PD charging port, which means they can charge your device much faster than standard 5W chargers. For example, the powerstation PD XL will charge an iPhone XS up to 2.5 times faster than a standard 5W in-box charger (based on a 30-minute charge from 0% using an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable). Of course, results can vary depending on charging configuration and device.

Can I charge my tablet from the powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery?
You bet. The powerstation PD battery can provide up to 8 hours of extra battery for a small tablet or 4 hours of extra battery for a large tablet. The powerstation PD XL battery can provide up to 13 hours of extra battery for a small tablet or 6 hours of extra battery for a large tablet.
Can the powerstation PD and powerstation PD XL batteries charge multiple devices at once?
Sure. The powerstation PD and powerstation PD XL batteries have a USB-A port that lets you charge a second device at the same time you’re charging one from their USB-C port. The USB-A port can charge a device at up to 5W of power when you’re also charging a device from the USB-C port, or at up to 12W of power when no other device is connected to the powerstation battery.
Once I connect my device to the powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery, how do I start charging?
Charging will begin automatically once you connect your device to one of the powerstation battery’s USB ports.
How do I recharge my powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery?
Use the included USB-C to USB-C cable to connect your powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery’s USB-C port to a USB-C wall charger. If you connect to a USB-C PD capable wall charger the powerstation battery will recharge up to 2.5 times faster than from a standard 5W wall charger.
Can I recharge the powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery from a computer’s USB port?
A computer’s USB port may not effectively charge the powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery. For the best charging performance, we recommend charging from a USB-C PD capable wall charger.
Can I charge my device while recharging the powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery (Priority+® charging)?
Yes. When you’re recharging your powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery via its USB-C port, Priority+ charging provides power to a device connected to the USB-A port first, before the powerstation battery starts to recharge.
How can I tell how much charge my powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery has?
Momentarily press the status button on your powerstation PD or powerstation PD XL battery and the status LEDs will indicate its charge level. Four LEDs means that the battery is fully charged, while one LED means that it’s almost empty. Know before you go!
