It’s easy to sign up for a ZAGG Protect plan or fill out a claim on our online portal. Just follow the step-by-step instructions.

Purchasing ZAGG Protect

  1. Log into your account.
    If you do not have a account, you will need to create one.
  2. Add ZAGG Protect to your cart, and complete your checkout.
  3. You will receive an email with a registration link.
    Click the link in the email to launch a diagnostic app for your phone.
  4. Register your device.

Filing a Claim Online

Before getting your device repaired, you'll need to start the claims process. See directions below:

  1. Go to and click File a Claim.
  2. Follow the online guided claims process and select an authorized repair location.

Repairing Your Device

  1. Take your phone to the pre-authorized repair location.
  2. After paying for your repairs, you can submit your receipt and finish your claim online.
  3. You will receive your reimbursement in the form of an ACH payment, typically within 24-48 hours of receiving/verifying your banking information.

All claims are subject to the deductible and limit of liability as detailed in the terms and conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

ZAGG Protect is available for phones running Android OS using Chrome browser version 68 or newer, or iOS 11 or newer using Safari or Chrome browsers.
Each plan covers one phone—one phone per plan.

Mechanical and electrical failures are covered only after the manufacturer's warranty has expired.

For accidental damage, ZAGG Protect will cover up to two claims per 12-month period beginning on the date of plan coverage.

For mechanical and electrical failure you may file an unlimited number of claims at $500 per incident (covered only after the manufacturer's warranty has expired).

There is only one battery replacement over the life of the plan.

During the claims process, you will select an authorized repair location.

After the repair, you will pay the full price of the repairs, and then submit your receipt and finish your claim online for reimbursement.

All claims are subject to the deductible and limit of liability as detailed in the terms and conditions.
Any defect or failure covered under an active manufacturer warranty or recall will remain as such until the warranty or recall has expired. In other words, ZAGG Protect will cover defects not covered under the device’s active warranty.
For accidental damage, ZAGG Protect will pay up to $500 in approved claims costs per 12-month period beginning thirty days (30) after the date you purchased the Plan. Yes, you will need to submit a receipt.
If your phone cannot be repaired, we can replace it or issue a cash credit or settlement up to the $500 limit of the plan, and that does not exceed the original purchase price of the original device as indicated in your receipt.
Repairs made outside of the US are covered. You need to contact the Administrator for customer support. Repairs will need to be initially paid out-of-pocket. You will receive reimbursement that is subject to the limit of liability.
The effective date of your plan is the date of plan purchase, but coverage begins 30 days after the effective date, subject to the completion of the diagnostic application.

ZAGG Protect does not cover loss or theft of your phone, pre-existing conditions, negligence, misuse and abuse, intentional and incidental or consequential damage, rust, corrosion, failures where the screen protector or protective case were not in use, loss covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

31 days after you purchase the ZAGG Protect Annual Plan, you will be sent an email with a $50 ZAGG Reward that can be used for purchases on only. This is our way of saying thank you for joining the ZAGG Protect family. Reward does not have cash value and is for use on only. Reward cannot be used towards the purchase of ZAGG Protect or gift cards. It will expire one year from the date of the Reward email.
