I went to a verizon to get a replacement and was told that these are faulty because they are not sticking to the screen is that why it's sold out online?

Asked by: Yanira
I was wondering the same thing myself. Went to buy one in story and was told they were recalled for issues with sticking.

I bought my phone and screen protector Thursday night at best buy. Today my phone slipped out of my hands and fell and the screen protector came off. This never happened with my galaxy 6. Is this normal?

Asked by: Laurajane88
I had the same thing happen when it fell off the seat in my car onto the floorboard. Verizon installed it when I bought my phone. It doesn't follow the curves of the screen and is a piece of garbage!

What is the purpose for the black line on the sides of the protector? It covers a bit of my screen and now my screen is a bit smaller due to the black lines

Asked by: Robbielimbo
There is no purpose according to the customer service rep I communicated with. All I know is it ruins this product and I hate it. While it does not interfere with the screen function it does interfere with the design of the phone and covers things I would like to see. Total design fail from my stand point and I wish they would fix it but it is my understanding there as currently no plans to remove it. Unfortunately, I haven't found a screen protector I like any better yet so if someone has suggestions please send them my way!!

Does the glue cover the entire glass surface including the edges?

Asked by: PSK1
My glass shield fell off after about a month and the adhesive only seemed to be present on the edges. The rest of the surface didn't seem sticky at all.

will the s8+ fit the s9+ since they are really the same size

Asked by: bearjew
I bought the S8+ from Best Buy as the salesperson stated that it would fit. I was using the red alignment guide to put it on, and it cracked during installation. So I would say that the .06" or 1.5 mm in height might seem insignificant, but when you are trying to line in a curved piece of glass that needs zero tolerance, that is huge. The S8+ is 0.5mm smaller in the width than the S9+, which is about the thickness of 5 sheets of paper. The 1.5mm in height isn't much of a problem, as it would not not reach the end completely, but being smaller width wise in a curve, might be.

The protector cracked the minute the squeegee slid off the top of the screen protector. I am not happy with your product. Very fragile. Followed the instructions to a "T" and also watched the video.

I had the same exact issue...very frustrating!

My brand new, straight out of the box-Samsung Galaxy s9+ barely responds to my touch after I put the Glass Curve Elite on. My new phone is now basically useless as long as it stays on. Surely that must qualify for a refund? I can show you the film..

Asked by: PerL
My Galaxy S9 did the same thing. You have to go into setting and adjust the screen sensitivity on your phone! It works great now!!

Best Buy told me there was a recall on these and the new one should be coming out soon. Has it been released yet?

Asked by: Donovan75
Your customer experience is our top priority. We caught this early and have made the appropriate adjustments at our manufacturing facilities. But we removed the existing product out of an overabundance of caution. The revised product is already shipping to our retail partners and should be on retail store shelves soon.
