Rated 5 out of 5 by from Protects & converts my iPad into a computer! I bought the Zagg Slim Book Case with Backlight keyboard for my iPad Pro and am extremely pleased with how well it protects the iPad, holds the screen in a great viewing position and enables easy typing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my slim book. I’m so glad my daughter in law showed me hers. It’s the best thing I got for the 12.9 tablet.

Questions

Can this case be used in the keyboard mode while sitting in your lap? That is the way I use mine the most. It looks like it wouldn't be very stable.

Asked by: JWalsh
Absolutely. Its more rigid than you would think. I've had this model for my iPad Air 2 for months and have never had any issues working off of my lap.

Zagg does not advertise this but I believe it is about 700-740 grams.

Should I SERIOUSLY have to charge this keyboard weekly? This is my second one! The first one was replaced under warranty. The one I'm using now , that I have to charge every week is the warranty replacement! Charging it every week!!! Is this NORMAL?

Asked by: Myzagguser
How much do you use it? I have had to at times but I type hours a day.

How is the screen protected while in "case mode'?

Asked by: LisaA
"Case Mode" does not protect the screen at all.  "Case Mode" just protects the back of the tablet only.

How do I turn on the back lit  keyboard?

Asked by: Ladyrx70
Hold down the backlit key, which looks like a lightbulb for a few seconds, and then you can rotate through the colors by using the FN and right arrow key.

Does this model close into a protective case like the Zagg keyboard case for the iPad 3? Where are you shipping from and how long does it take to ship to CA? Is there a reason Best Buy doesn't carry this model?

Asked by: Patrish
Yes this is the same as for other Slim Books for other iPad models.  Just bigger since it has to fit the iPad Pro.   Shipping is from the USA.  I live in Canada to and just posted a review.  I mentioned that you will also have to pay customs fee when you pick it up or it is delivered to you.  This is in addition to ZAGGs shipping costs.  Be mindful of this as my cost was about $40 for customs.  With the exchange rate it drives the price up quite substantially.  However, like I said in the review, I think it is still worth the money.
